Q&A with Asher

Q: What has been the best lesson that you have learned along your journey so far?

A: The keys to being successful in business are the following: #1 creating an empowering environment where everyone in your company/organization has an incentive to grow, advance, and contribute their talent and skills for expanding the enterprise. #2 Management, management, management..."business cannot survive without management because management is its means of support." (DailyOjo) Operating the company full-time for the past 3 years, I've been ineffective in managing people. The next steps I'm taking in the company are implementing structures and accountability systems that allow for effective management of people's requests, promised actions, and tasks being complete in a timely manner. "Management creates teamwork and team spirit in an organization by developing a sound organizational structure. It brings the human and material resources together and motivates the people for the achievement of goals." (DailyOjo) #3 Hiring qualified and reliable workers I can count on. To do so, I determine the best characteristics (qualities and skills) to look for in job applicants and compile a list. Once the list is completed I narrow down to top 10 traits and create a job ad. ”Great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people.” (Steve Jobs) https://www.inc.com/michael-kay/entrepreneurs-are-only-as-strong-as-teams-that-surround-them.html

Q: Why is this the best lesson that you have learned so far?

A: These 3 best lessons I've learned are each equally important since in the past they've been executed in effectively which caused stress, aggravation, and turnover, all which can be prevented with the experience and awareness gained.

Q: What advice do you have for a fellow entrepreneur who is experiencing the same issue that you dealt with?

A: Practice "Reflection" identify how you're "being" and your "attitude" where problems and limitations are occurring.

Q: What drives you to continue along your journey?

A: #1 Passion for providing high-quality programs that makes a lasting difference for the health and fitness of people. #2 Creation of a universal curriculum and program that empowers kids through fitness & music across Florida and is actively revolutionizing physical education throughout the United States.

Q: What is your favorite motivational quote?

A: "When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.” - Anthony Robbins
